Our first Steeplechase!

When we first got to Aiken we got to walk around, It's so fun and different to be able to walk and do stuff downtown and eat and walk back home.

Before we left.. I was so excited to wear a hat haha!
My favorite picture! they look blurry on Blogger but they are really clear and cute
Once we got to the horse race!
It was so different and neat, it was like a football tailgate but then there was a horse race right infront of you!
The sky filled with clouds and then...

It poured! ha We hid under the tent...
But the sun came out for awhile and the rain stopped and we had fun again

The next day we went to Augusta where they play the Masters and had lunch and walked at this really pretty park on the Savannah river which is apparently a homeless hangout haha!! I loved it though, the huge houses and boats were so neat!
It was really fun to do somehting different its always fun to go see my dad and have a new adventure I absolutely love it in Aiken it is soo prety and historic the streets are lined with huge old trees and it looks like Savannah sort of.

Getting ready!!

After doing about ten piles of laundry, I am getting ready for our trip to Aiken this weekend to go to the horse race. I have never been and I am soo excited to wear a big hat, not quite as crazy as those! I am ready to have fun on Spring break and I have been suffering from allergies. I am ready to leave the tissues behind!

Matthew's taken some time from work and helped me get to feeling better! Cutie!
